Authority to Travel to Saint John, New Brunswick to attend the TAC Conference - September 24 - 27, 1999

RECOMMENDATION

THAT Council authorize Councillor Gordon Price to travel to Saint John, New Brunswick, to attend the Transportation Association of Canada Conference at an estimated cost of $3,974.

The City Manager submits the foregoing CONSIDERATION.

COUNCIL POLICY

Council's travel policy, approved July 31, 1992, requires Council's approval for travel within North America.

PURPOSE

This report requests approval for Councillor Price to travel to Saint John, New Brunswick for the TAC Conference (September 24 - 27, 1999). Councillor Price is the Chair of the Vancouver Traffic and Transportation Committee.

DISCUSSION

The estimated cost for travel and accommodation is $3,974.
