Attached for consideration as a Report Reference for the Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 1999, is the Policy Report Rapid Transit - Phase 1.

We apologize for the lateness of this Report. We were waiting for input from the Special Council Meeting held on the evening of Thursday, February 18, 1999. This Policy Report is being submitted for your consideration tomorrow so that Council will be able to provide its advice to the Province on this issue before the Rapid Transit Project Office finalizes what it is referring to as the “Preferred Alignment and Station Locations” for Phase 1 of the proposed SkyTrain extension, from Boundary Road to Commercial Drive.
