ADOPTION OF MINUTES

The minutes of the meetings of September 17 and October 1, 1998, to be adopted.

1. Strategic Action Plan for the Downtown Eastside

The following previously circulated reports were considered as a Report Reference by Vancouver City Council on Tuesday, October 20, 1998:

a) Policy Report dated October 1, 1998 entitled "A Program of Strategic Actions for the Downtown Eastside - Public Response and Implementation"

b) Administrative Report dated October 1, 1998, entitled "National Crime Prevention Program Funding Application - Building a Future Together - The Downtown Eastside Revitalization Program".

Document entitlted "Building a Future Together" dated October 1, 1998.

Copies of the Reports have been widely distributed to interested parties, and a number of people have indicated their desire to speak.

NOTICE

A Regular Council meeting will be convened immediately following the Standing Committee meeting.
