UNFINISHED BUSINESS

1. Smoke-Free Indoor Air By-law - Regional Proposal Three Special Meetings of Vancouver City Council were held on September 18, October 24 and November 7, 1995, for the purpose of hearing delegations on a proposed smoking ban. Council heard a total of 90 speakers and deferred its decision to a future meeting. On December 5, 1995, Council agreed to participate in a regional consultation process initiated by the GVRD. Policy Report dated February 16, 1996, refers. 2. Proposed Rezoning of 1005 Beach Avenue On February 27, 1996, Vancouver City Council deferred consideration of a report on this matter to its March 12th meeting, to permit members of Council an opportunity to review the plans and the model for the proposed development.
